Repair & Restringing Policy
I offer repair and restringing services for jewelry, including bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. This service covers issues such as:
-
Stretched wire or elastic
-
Broken clasps
-
Crimps coming undone
-
Switching a bracelet from stretchy to clasp (or vice versa)
-
Beads that are dented, damaged, or need adjustment
Important Notes About Beads
Please note that natural beads such as pink conch, turquoise, red, orange, purple spiny oyster, black onyx, or any beads other than silver beads cannot be guaranteed for replacement. In these cases, I can remove the damaged bead and restring the piece, but replacement of the exact bead may not be possible.
If beads need to be replaced or added, an additional fee will apply. This fee depends on the cost of the beads and the number of beads required.
Limitations
-
I am able to restring or repair any necklace, bracelet, or earring that I can work with.
-
I am not able to repair items made by a silversmith, as I am not a silversmith.
Pricing
The base cost for repair or restringing is $15 per piece, plus shipping back to you. This fee covers labor and materials.
If additional materials are needed, there will be an extra charge, which I will confirm once I receive and assess the piece.
Once I receive and assess your jewelry, I will send over a final pricing estimate, which must be paid before I begin working on your piece. I will not ship the piece back to you until payment is received, as sending it unpaid would result in an out-of-pocket expense.
Sending Your Jewelry
Please contact me before sending your piece so I can provide the correct shipping address.
Since I am in college, I may not always be home to receive packages, which could cause a delay in repair or replacement if the piece arrives when I am away. Contacting me beforehand ensures your item reaches me safely and minimizes delays
